I've recently changed my user name to one that I feel is more fitting. It always makes me curious, though, how people come up with their user names. Some are more common, involving common words like sexy, blind, Dj, etc. Others are just random. Others actually have a purpose. I think mine is pretty self-explanitory, for those who know more about me on here know how much I love running. Plus, 295 stands for the number I wore in my first 5K running road race. So, what made you choose yours?
There's been a lot of confusion surrounding my username, so since I've become somewhat active on this site again I guess I'll clear it up here as well as give an explanation. My real name is Kerri, and my last name starts with R, so K R Is Me. Put that all together and you get krisme. Of course no screenreader I've ever come across pronounces that right, so a lot of people who see my username for the first time think my name's Kris or something like that. But no, it's Kerri. I guess I could add capitals which would make it KrIsMe but I don't like how that sounds much. I've considered changing it, but why bother? KR will continue to be me for a very long time. It's how I've identified myself on here for 8 years, so why stop now?
I've seen this topic elsewhere, and pretty recently, in fact. just sayin'.
I looked but I did not see any other one similar to it. I must have missed it.

laced-unlaced could mean 1 of 2 things to me, and i actually chose it because of both.
1 is, it's the name of an instrimental album by emily autumn, who is 1 of my inspirations. given her circumstances, she's done a lot with her life... 8 albums, a book, a violinist, etc
the other reason i chose it is less known, and only a few people that actually know me know why i chose it.
it's to do with my own mental conditions. laced-unlaced.. look at is as pair of shoes. if the laces are tight, then chances are you won't fall down, however if the laces are loose, you'll fall over
so same with me
if i'm doing okay, or " laced", then chances are i'm not going to be in any danger of doing anything bad. but " unlaced", well who knows what i'll end up doing
so yeah... that's my username

I've had abunch of names since joining in 2004. I started out as cat lover because I love cats. But another user had the same name, only without the space between the two words, and people kept getting us confused. So then I changed my name to Buckeyecat because I am a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and still a cat lover. I can't remember why I decided to change it from Buckeyecat to BuckeyeFan, but I did. Then I got tired of that and went with LibraLady because Libra is my zodiac sign. Then on a dare from several people and because Cam and some others said they would give me all their points if I did it, I changed my name to lesbian nipple butter. After keeping that weird name for 30 days and getting all kinds of unwanted attention, I changed it back to LibraLady. I know this name isn't very creative, but none of my names except for the one I took on a dare, have been creative. If I ever think of one that is creative and that I really like, I'll change it again.
Lol I believe i remember that username and thought "WTF?" :)
I had the name "party bitch" for 30 days myself as a dare.
I then went back to rdfreak which I was when I first signed up with in 03 and have had that name all over the net.
The Rd is my first two initials - first and middle name, and Keyte rhymes with freak in a round about kinday way so I went with that. :)
